Wow, one month in the New Year and this is my first post. 2008 is shaping up to a great year. Many of the NetSuite web designers and NetSuite web developers have been pumping out some great work. The community is thriving with talent, plus the software is getting tremendous exposure. This year I expecting to see some of the best work yet.

Do you have a new design? Post it here today!

    Chris,
    You can use Dreamweaver for NS sites. I use it, but it is a little different process than normal. You can not FTP to the NS file cabinet, so you need to create hardcode HTML pages and upload them by batching (via zip files). Or you need to manually move all the content into the Netsuite Content Management System (CMS). Hope that helps.

    All these sites were designed in NetSuite??? So I guess I would be looking for some tips on what would be the best way for us to merge our design with NetSuite. I can design a site using dreamweaver without issues just still not sure how to combine the two.

    Kevin,
    Great job on your site. Yea, AlexDesigns will not work on a site unless it has "Advanced Site Customization". We require the flexibility to remove the code. This allows the site to use more CSS and make it more SEO friendly.

    Please all the custom designs stuff we do. Want to write a guest post about non-advanced sites templates?

    Very interesting blog.

    Keep up the good work!

    Nice work.

    I assume that pretty much all the sites discussed here have "Advanced Site Customization" which we don't have. I'd be interested to see if there are any cool sites that have been developed without it. I think we've pushed the limits of the basic set up as far as we can by adding HTML to the discriptions, greetings etc and judiciously using hosted pages. You're welcome to take a look;

    I'd be interested to know any other tips and tricks anyone else in my position has used to overcome the limitations of the basic set up.
